Servicing Visits Comply with SFG20
Diamond Controls has added specific checks to its servicing visits to comply with the requirements of SFG20 for water leak detection system maintenance.
Our engineer visits are fully documented and digital operations software helps us to achieve real-time record-keeping for consistent, efficient service reporting.
What is SFG20?
SFG20 is recognised as the industry standard for building maintenance specifications. It has a library of over 2000 maintenance schedules to help facilities managers allocate and prioritise maintenance tasks across commercial buildings. SFG20 enables businesses to efficiently and proactively plan maintenance tasks.
What Water Leak Detection checks are included?
Our comprehensive service checks form part of the Core SFG20 measures, section 14-24 and include tasks 3-6 for water leak detection systems.
We’ve incorporated the elements of these tasks within our existing checklist to provide seamless reporting for facilities managers following the SFG20 maintenance tasklist.
This includes simulated leak tests to test all functionality, alarm generation, and thorough checking of all sensing cables, sensors and panels.
Servicing and Maintenance Manager, Lavinia Dean said, “We have stringent checks in place when servicing leak detection systems and have been happy to adapt these to incorporate the requirements of SFG20. It’s a great illustration of the importance we place on developing customer relationships and showcases how we’re able to adapt to our client’s needs.”
Regular maintenance checks of leak detection systems and products are essential to the smooth running and reliability of automatic leak monitoring equipment. Get in touch to book your visit.
