Protect Your Property with Automatic PIR Water Isolation
We are pleased to introduce our PIR Water Isolation Kits, designed to help minimise water waste, lower utility consumption, and reduce the risk of water-related damage, these systems provide an effective and automated approach to water management.
Using occupancy-based control, the system automatically isolates the water supply when a room or area is no longer in use. Each kit combines a PIR motion sensor, motorised valve control equipment, and a WRAS-approved motorised ball valve to create a reliable automatic shut-off solution.
Suitable for a wide variety of applications, including commercial offices, education facilities, industrial buildings, hotels, and leisure venues, PIR-controlled water isolation can help protect against unnoticed leaks, burst pipes, and flooding. Depending on site conditions and usage patterns, the solution could help reduce water consumption by up to 75%.

The system can be configured with a choice of PIR sensors to suit the installation environment:
- Ceiling Mount Surface PIR Sensor – A compact and discreet solution, ideal for smaller rooms and confined spaces where surface mounting is preferred.
- Recessed PIR Sensor, Ceiling Mount Flush PIR – Designed for installation within suspended ceilings or soffits, providing full 360° detection coverage with an area of up to 8 metres in diameter. Detection zones can also be refined using optional shrouds where required.
Every installation can be tailored to individual project requirements. The system can be supplied with multiple valve junction boxes and a choice of 15mm or 22mm motorised ball valves, allowing the configuration to be scaled to suit the application.
When connected together, the PIR sensor, valve junction box, and motorised ball valve operate as a fully automatic water isolation system, helping to conserve water, reduce running costs, and protect valuable assets from the consequences of water leaks and flooding.
