Paul heads up the estimating team at Diamond Controls, so he’s in charge of getting as much information as possible from site visits to accurately interpret your specifications and design drawings in order to come up with a proposal that is compliant, well-engineered and importantly for you, the best value for money. Not only is he the approved CompEx design engineer for the ATEX trace heating systems, Paul also provides technical support on all leak detection and trace heating systems and he finds making an impact and solving sometimes complex technical issues very rewarding. Lavinia manages the maintenance and minor works department (but not minor in importance!) and is the point of contact for all aspects, such as quotations, scheduling, visits and reporting. Away from working with her professional, resourceful and knowledgeable colleagues and engineers, she likes playing PS4 games like GTA5 & RDR2 (that’s Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 to us!), watching action/ sci-fi/ horror movies (anything with special effects), reading classics, gardening and spending time with her family.
Charlie is part of our estimating team, working with Paul and Martin on our Leak Detection and Trace Heating projects. His Project Controls Technician Apprenticeship will see him develop his skills in estimating, planning, scheduling, and cost control. Day-to-day his role includes the provision of quotes for clients and keeping customers updated with project timelines and product availability. He’s also liaising with our suppliers to ensure strict deadlines are able to be met. Outside of work, Charlie loves a game of Basketball and is part of a local team.
