nVent Raychem Trace Heating Winter Tips

As an authorised distributor of nVent Raychem Trace Heating products we’d like to share a Winter maintenance checklist to ensure your existing Trace Heating systems provide a reliable performance throughout the winter months.

You can also download the checklist of Trace Heating maintenance tips.

Now is the time to complete a system audit to make sure your Trace Heating is up to scratch when you need it most. If you don’t have the expertise in house, please contact us and we’d be happy to arrange a site visit to fully evaluate your system.

Here are the main elements you should check in your Trace Heating System:

  • Insulation Resistance (IR) test
  • Ground fault breakers
  • Heating tracing components
  • Thermostat or controller
  • Perform a power check
  • Distribution panel
  • Insulation
  • Maintain your installation and maintenance records
